As the Healthy Eating Coordinator at my school I'm always trying to promote a healthy balanced diet and making healthy choices through events and contests in school. However I needn't have bothered as Sesame Street has done one if its amazing parodies promoting healthy eating through the use of the Avengers IP. The result is a brilliant parody that has jokes for the kids but also for the adults.
Premake of 'The Empire Strikes Back'
What if Star Wars was a 50s 3-D Movie? Youtuber whoiseyevan has created the ultimate premake, using clips from old films to create an imaginative but nonetheless effective trailer for 'The Empire Strikes Back'. The end result is a marvellous trailer for a classic film set in a far simpler time.
Twin Beaks- A Sesame Street Parody of Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks was a hugely influential show that changed the way series were made for television. There have been many spoofs but surprisingly Sesame Street did it as part of their Monsterpiece Theater segments. Titled Twin Beaks the sketch features many of the quirky characters of the series were parodied in the segment, including the "Log Lady" (with The Log Bird), Special Agent Dale Cooper (with Cookie Monster as Agent Cookie) and series creator David Lynch (as David Finch) who dines with Laura (which spoofs Laura Palmer).
