This term my class have been learning about the Anglo-Saxons. In my 15 years of teaching I have never taught this History topic and so I’ve enjoyed learning about it with the kids. I went to the British Museum to see the manga exhibition and as I had an hour to spare I finally went to see the exhibition in room 44 on the third floor, just passed the Egyptian mummies.

The Sutton Hoo mask is impressive and I am glad to have finally seen it. I took a few photos of the artifacts to use in lessons. Feel free to have a look and use!
