I've been a long time listener of Lasertime, an irreverent and fun podcast that looks at multimedia including film, TV, comics, music and pop culture. They look back with nostalgia and give it a fun spin, some of their podcasts include Ultra descriptive title theme songs, Adult jokes in kids cartoons, The best unaired pilots and Animated vanity.

Cape Crisis

Cape Crisis is hosted by Henry Gilbert on a weekly basis. This show predominantly, if not exclusively features news and discussion about comic books and other forms of sequential art.

VGMpire

VGMpire is hosted by Brett Elston and features discussions about video game music.

Cheap Popcast

Cheap Popcast is hosted by Dave Rudden and is released on a monthly basis, usually near the same time as an upcoming pay-per-view wrestling event. I'm not a fan of wrestling so don't listen to this one but if you are a fan then this would be great for you!

Vidjagame Apocalypse

Mikel Reparaz, hosts Vidjagame Apocalypse, a podcast that features news and discussions exclusively about video games, with some episodes featuring journalists from other game sites including Games Radar.

Talking Simpsons

In June 2015, a new podcast, Talking Simpsons, hosted by Retronauts host Bob Mackey became available to the podcast's patrons on Patreon. The podcast focuses on discussing each episode from the long-running animated series in chronological order. The first season of the podcast is exclusive to Patreon donators, while following seasons will be available to the general public.

Bonus Time

Exclusive to the podcast's Patreon supporters, Bonus Time is a weekly companion to the main Lasertime podcast, hosted by Chris Antista, Henry Gilbert, and Dave Rudden.

As a $5 Patreon supporter I get the Lasertime sticker, it arrived today and I am very happy with it. It takes pride of place on my Macbook. If you haven't listened to any of the Lasertime network shows I heartily recommend that you do.

The Best of Laser Time 2014

I love listening to podcasts especially on my commute to work. Whilst waiting for the bus or trying not to sit next to anyone on the top deck of the bus there is nothing better than listening to one of my favourite podcasts, the Laser Time network. The podcasts cover pop culture, computer game music, comics and wrestling (although I don't listen to the last two). Star Trek vs Marvel

I'm a big Lasertime fan and this is one of my favourite clips from their show. They look at the most unnecessarily verbose titles in the history of mankind from Star Trek and Marvel. Some of the titles sound like something Troy McClure would star in!

I want to share with you some amazing websites which I regularly visit. Maybe there's something here that you might like and get into, click on the images and you're set to go!

VGMpire is an informative and excellently researched site with it's focus on computer game music and soundtracks. They do regular podcast which are essential listens for a gamer like me.

Lasertimepodcast is a wonderful geek culture website which shares and discusses films, music, books, computer games... pretty much the whole gamut of media. It has a lively forum and people share their views and opinions in a respectful way. Wonderful!

Mystery Science Theatre 3000 is a surreal website which is brilliant, I can't really say much except go there and check it out!

Welcome to Nightvale is a weird and wonderful podcast set in a fictional desert town where conspiracy theories are all true, If you like X-files, Twin Peaks, American Gothic and other surreal series then you'll love this!

A fun and highly un-PC look at cartoons from the 80's.

This website gives a rich and full history of computer games, the articles are superbly written and uniformly informative. Brilliant!

Audio Atrocities looks at the terrible voice acting in computer games, you'd think that over the last few years with games getting bigger budgets and production values bad voice acting would be a thing of the past, but no.... you won't believe your ears!
